Rapid Whitening Cream – Optimized Formula Manufacturing Procedure (O/W Emulsion)
Equipment Preparation
Homogenizer: High-speed emulsifier, homogenizer, or vacuum emulsifying mixer Heating Stirring Device: Double-jacketed tanks for oil and water phases Stirring Paddle: Anchor-type or spiral-type Addition Order: Prepare water phase > oil phase > add actives
Manufacturing Steps Step 1: Phase A (Water Phase) Preparation
Purpose: Dissolve hydrophilic ingredients and pre-disperse colloids
Ingredient
Deionized Water, Disodium
EDTA Glycerin + Xanthan Gum
Pentylene Glycol
Instructions
Heat to 75°C while stirring
Premix and add slowly under high-speed stirring to avoid clumping
Add and stir evenly
Step 2: Phase B (Oil Phase) Preparation
Purpose: Melt and mix oil-soluble and emulsifying ingredients evenly
Ingredient
PhytoPearl™ Emulsifier Wax G35+
PhytoSilk™ VMM, Silkynol™ NanoCore
Polysorbate 60
Instructions
Melt completely at 75°C in oil phase tank
Add sequentially and stir evenlyAdd to enhance emulsification power
Step 3: Emulsification (A+B Mixing)
Purpose: Form stable and uniform O/W emulsion Maintain both Phase A and B at 70–75°C; Under high-speed stirring (800–1200 rpm), slowly add Phase B into Phase A, continue stirring for 10–15 minutes; Optional: Use high-shear homogenizer (6000–8000 rpm) for 3–5 minutes to improve emulsion droplet size and uniformity; Cool down naturally to below 40°C.
Step 5: Post-processing
Purpose: Ensure product texture, uniformity, and stability Vacuum Deaeration: If bubbles are present, vacuum degas at –0.08 MPa for 3–5 minutes; Viscosity Check: Test using Brookfield viscometer, aim for 4000–8000 cps (depending on product); Microbial Test: Reserve sample for microbial count check; Filling/Cooling: Fill below 45°C, then cool to room temperature.
Step 4: Phase C (Actives Addition)
Purpose: Avoid high-temperature degradation, improve actives stability
LumiSpeed™ DIB, Synerglow™ DPB, DermaPerm™ Pro Citric Acid Solution (10%) Preservative (e.g. Euxyl PE 9010)
